Rich from a unique cultural heritage, Catalonia is full of museums and other cultural buildings. Places like the Montserrat Monastery, the Dali Theatre-Museum at Figures, the Ruins of Empuries of Costa Brava or the Gaudi Centre of Reus won't escape from the history and culture lovers.

In order to discover the Catalan specialties, nothing is better than going to the typical markets. On the stalls, sea and soil products are displayed for the pleasure of eyes and palates. The markets to not miss remain the one of Tordera, L'Hospitalet de LLobregat, La Garriga, Gerona or Tarragona.

The Catalan desserts are exquisite. Choose a traditional pastry and succumb to Torrons, Tortell de Reis, Pets de Monja, Panellets or Xuixo.
